GENERATIVE ART / CELLULAR FIELDS
Local rules.
Continuous flow.
One ribbon field. Layered elements.
Nested leaves open, curl and taper together.
Freeze a moment into architecture.
01 The cellular field
60 × 24 cellsClick the field to introduce another wave.
Neighbouring cells pass on an impulse. Their collective activity is smoothed into a continuous field.
Each ribbon follows one curve. Its nested leaves share that curve and twist, then open locally in response to the same field. They gather close together at the ends.

Leaf spacing sets the base centre-to-centre distance; local opening adds a field-driven spread along each ribbon.
01 / EMERGENCE
Waves from local rules.
One cellular field drives all 24 ribbon elements. A resting cell responds to an active neighbour, then recovers before it can respond again.
02 / EXPRESSION
A continuous interpretation.
A ribbon becomes a layered section: its leaves share a centreline and twist. The field changes their width and local opening, while the complete element stays clear of its neighbours.
03 / CAPTURE
One moment, one composition.
Freeze preserves all leaves inside every ribbon element. Element detail isolates one layered ribbon; export keeps each element and leaf identifiable. Connections and fabrication remain to be developed.
